Skids4kids, kids club is open to children from Seamer school in term time and available to all children requiring quality care within the holidays.

We are an Ofsted Registered Kids’ Club, providing excellent value for money childcare before school, after school, and during the school holidays. All staff are D.B.S checked and cleared.

Is Skids 4 Kids a commercial enterprise?

Yes, Although it is run like a business, any profits made are invested back into the club to provide, for instance, new resources and equipment, staff training, future projects – all for the benefit of the children.

Is Skids 4 Kids run by the School?

No, Although we operate on school premises, in partnership with the school, the club is an independent Business ran by Directors Josie Dennis and Jodene Langham along with a dedicated team of highly trained Play Workers.

What would my child do at the club?

After school we provide a fruit bowl, fruit and veg sticks and a drink which children can access freely. Then we have a vast range of educational and recreational activities on offer – all manner of arts and crafts, construction kits, drama, educational computer games, indoor and outdoor sports (too many to mention!), Playstations, Xbox’s, games, books, television and DVD’s... and much more! We also have full access to the school playground.

What happens at Skids 4 Kids holiday club?

Theme weeks run throughout the school holidays – anything from dinosaurs to pirates to food to outer space ! We have entertainers – visiting speakers – people from outside agencies coming in to show the children their particular skills – as well as all the usual activities Skids 4 Kids offers. We even run outings and trips too. Please provide your child with a packed lunch and apply sun-cream when necessary..
